Chiyan Wong, highly-acclaimed London-based pianist will perform at the Royal Overseas-League, London, on Thursday 5 March.
He will play Chopin Fantasy Op 49, Beethoven Op 111 Sonata, Franck "Prelude Choral and Fugue", and Liszt Fantasy on Themes from the Marriage of Figaro and Don Giovanni S697.
Internationally acclaimed pianist Stephen Hough regards Wong as "an exciting, original and thoughtful pianist" and admires "Nothing sounds 'bought in'; everything sounds freshly but not self-consciously conceived". Wong has regularily appeared in major concert venues throughout Europe and Asia including the Wigmore Hall with critical success.
His first CD on Liszt's transcription works will be released from a major label in the fall of 2015.
